Our custom designed Sauna fits up to 6 guests at a time and for a sauna, it probably has the best view of Romania. Beyond the incredible relaxation effect, a 15min sauna session per day increases endorphin levels, detoxifies the body from heavy metals at cellular level, increases blood flow, and boosts the immune system. Choose from Traditional Swedish Sauna or Infra-red Sauna, or both.

Outoor heated jacuzzi

The place to be at the end of a hiking tour or yoga class. The water for the jacuzzi comes from spring water that is filtered but full of mountain minerals and clean energy.

Acupuncturist, TuiNa Master, Holistic Health Practitioner, Vitamin Shot Technician

Joining us from London for a few weeks this summer, Rita is trained in Chinese and Oriental Medicine and runs a thriving London Practice. She is a highly experienced holistic health practitioner, acupuncturist and Tuina remedial massage master. Rita specialises in acute/chronic pain, emotional health, women’s health, digestive issues, fertility and pretty much anything you throw at her.

Chinese medicine is founded on the belief that physical and emotional issues are part of the whole and integral to understanding and treating any health problems.

Additionally, Rita also draws on many different disciplines to inform her practice including osteopathy, physiotherapy and different western and oriental massage techniques. She also uses cupping, guasha and tok sen (Thai tapping massage) Having experienced chronic pain herself, she knows what works, and is a dynamic, eclectic and empathic practitioner.

She also offers vitamin shots: B12 for energy, gut issues, mood, sleep, blood flow (also reduces Jet lag), Biotin for clear skin and lustrous hair, and Vitamin D for immunity, bones, muscles and mood. Shots are a great complement to the other treatments or as a standalone and are painless. Delivered intramuscularly into the deltoid muscle.

Focusing on your primary musculoskeletal concerns using tuina remedial massage and acupuncture. You may be experiencing back pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis or knobbly knees! Also used for migraines and TMJ. A dynamic and effective treatment. Additionally Rita uses a particular form of spinal acupuncture that has profound effects with any kind of nerve pain.

The Works - Acupuncture, Tuina remedial massage and/or combination of tok sen, cupping, guasha - 75 mins - €100

The Works covers any combination of health issues you may be experiencing, whether emotional and/or physical pain. Rita will tailor the session to your needs.

Signature massage treatment - Neck, back, shoulder + facial massage or foot massage - 45 mins - €75

Either deep tissue or a gentler massage finishing with a zen like facial massage or foot massage to bliss you out.

Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture & facial massage - 90 mins - €120

Known as the natural facelift, this treatment provides an immediate lifting and brightening effect. Very thin needles are placed around the face and the body, to encourage collagen, lift jowls, contour cheekbones, reduce Aine lines and enhance the appearance of the skin. This is followed by a zen-like facial massage, with facial cupping to continue the lifting effect. Add a biotin shot (separate cost) to further enhance the appearance of the skin.

Signature acupuncture treatment - 45 mins - €75

Excellent for a range of issues: women’s healthcare, emotional health, digestion, fertility, stress, insomnia, asthma, sinuses, hayfever etc. Or you may have lots going on, lost your mojo, for simply feel out of sorts. This treatment is designed to restore equilibrium whatever the cause, and increase your vitality.

Jet lag/relaxation/sleep/detox 30 mins Auricular (ear acupuncture) - €50

A quick 30 min auricular (ear) acupuncture session, seated and clothed (can be done oneto one or in a group) to detox, relax, calm a busy mind and relieve jet lag. A lovely treatment when you first arrive, and particularly before bed to catch up with those zedz.....
